A critical aspect of this management is navigating through various obstacles that pepper the islands. Today, we’re diving into the details of these obstacles, exploring their nature, how to clear them, obtain them, and the whimsical season variations they undergo.

Obstacles MSM

Obstacles in My Singing Monsters: Wiki & List

In My Singing Monsters, each island, except for a few like Gold, Wublin, Composer, Celestial, Tribal Island, and The Colossingum, is dotted with unique obstacles. These range from rocks to trees, each with its distinctive appearance and size. These natural impediments are not just random; they add to the game’s complexity and aesthetic. Players might encounter small, medium, or big rocks, and trees of various sizes and shapes, each harmoniously blending with the island’s theme.

Clearing Obstacles

Clearing these obstacles is a crucial task for players. It’s a process of making space for new monsters, decorations, and structures, and it’s not just about creating room; it’s about strategy and planning. The game offers an intriguing twist – when you remove an obstacle, it’s not gone forever. Players can use Diamonds, the game’s currency, to restore these natural elements. This feature adds a layer of strategy, as players must decide what to clear and what to keep for aesthetic or strategic purposes.

Season Variations

My Singing Monsters brings a delightful twist with seasonal variations of obstacles. These changes add a festive touch to the islands, aligning with real-world celebrations. For example, during Spooktacle, trees might be strewn with toilet paper, and rocks get a dark, cobwebbed makeover. The Festival of Yay sees trees decked in tinsel and ornaments, while rocks proudly wear bows. Each season brings its unique flair to the obstacles, making the islands feel alive and dynamic.

How much does it cost to clear an island MSM?

In My Singing Monsters, clearing obstacles from islands (except for specific islands like Gold, Wublin, Composer, Celestial, Tribal Island, and The Colossingum) is an essential part of gameplay to make room for monsters, decorations, and structures. The cost of clearing these obstacles is variable, depending on the time it takes to clear them. Players can speed up the clearing process at the cost of 1 Diamond for each hour or part thereof remaining on the timer, with the cost being rounded up. Once an obstacle is removed, it can also be restored using Diamonds, as per the game’s update 1.3.2.
